We are all very visual as we use our eyes the most out of all our senses. Working as a designer you will be dealing with a lot of cool looking photos, illustrations, fonts, colors which will stimulate your mind and keep you interested about your work.It is also fun because you can experiment, innovate and play when you do sketches, brainstorm and conceptualize a project. These highly creative moments of your work will take you back to your childhood, when you were playing around carelessly, just purely having fun.On the other hand you have to also meet deadlines and deal with client feedback, which most of the time is far from having fun 🙂 This is the challenging part of a designer’s daily work: being accurate, fast, flexible, adaptive, acceptive and patient. These are all things that you are not when you are a child. As a designer you can’t always play around, you also have to do hard work and concentrate.

Another important aspect of design is responsibility. Most of the time you are communicating something and your task is to get the message through clearly. You have to visually interpret the message of your client for their product that will appeal to their customers. You as a designer have to make a lot of decisions throughout each project, which will define how successful your designs will be. A successful design is easy to use and understand by the customers and delivers the message of your client clearly and effectively.
